We have 10 guest rooms, including 4 doubles, 2 twins, 2, singles, and 2 family suites. Due to the elevated position of the property within the village, most guest rooms have views out to the fells of Skiddaw, Latrigg and Blencathra, to name a few. with the remaining rooms having views out to Fern Howe’s hillside garden and six-acre red squirrel protected woodland, with the addition of a courtyard room.
Braithwaite is a popular tourist destination within the Lake District National Park World Heritage Site, with its quaint charm, three public houses, village store and local walks. It is gloriously located between Derwent Water and Bassenthwaite Lake, and is in close proximity to Whinlatter Forest, as well as being on the Coast to Coast (C2C) cycle route.
Fern Howe is set in the perfect location for families, cyclists, walkers, photographers and artists alike, with the vast array of local attractions on offer.
Fern Howe provides Keswick accommodation with parking, along with high quality, food, drink and toiletries to ensure that guests have a relaxing and comfortable stay. The produce is locally sourced and free range wherever possible, as we are very passionate about supporting local businesses. We also use Fairtrade, and eco/animal friendly products as part of our aim to provide a true, sustainable, Lake District experience. We also pride ourselves on excellent customer service, as we want your stay to the northern Lakes to be as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Our Keswick B&B has ten guest rooms to suit a range of guests, including super king, double, twin, single and family rooms, all ensuite.
