Fern Howe Guest House

A welcoming guest house situated the stunning village of Braithwaite, Keswick

Fern Howe Guest House is situated within the picturesque village of Braithwaite, close to the popular market town of Keswick in the beautiful Lake District National Park. It is gloriously located between Derwent Water and Bassenthwaite Lake. Fern Howe is set in the perfect location for families, cyclists, walkers, photographers and artists alike, with the vast array of local attractions on offer.
Fern Howe provides high quality accommodation, food, drink and toiletries to ensure that guests have a relaxing and comfortable stay. The produce is locally sourced and free range wherever possible, as we are very passionate about supporting local businesses and providing a true, sustainable, Lake District experience. Due to the elevated position of the property within the village, most guest rooms have views out to the fells of Skiddaw, Latrigg and Blencathra, to name a few, with the remaining rooms having views out to Fern Howe’s hillside garden and six-acre red squirrel protected woodland. We have a range of room types, including super king, double, twin, single and family rooms, all of which have en-suite bathrooms. There is also on-site parking for all guests, and complimentary Wi-Fi and cake.
