There are a number of egg hunts taking place over the Easter weekend including events Keswick on the shores of Derwentwater and Wordsworth House and Garden, Cockermouth. For something slightly different, George Fisher in Keswick have a Garmin Geochache egg hunt.

Wordsworth House and Gardens in Cockermouth opens its doors in March and is a great day out. Make sure you take some time to explore Cockermouth’s historic town centre and take advantage of the great range of independent shops, cafes and restaurants.  The first Saturday of every April in Cockermouth is Daffodil Day. Head along to All Saints Church for music, poetry and guided heritage walks of the town centre.
