Silloth Golf Club

Silloth on Solway Golf Club is quite simply one of the best golf courses in Britain, and without doubt one of the best value golf courses in Britain. The course was laid out in 1892 by David Grant and has evolved over the years with contributions from two great classic designers Dr Alister MacKenzie and Willie Park Junior. A number of blind holes still remain, architecturally-incorrect in the modern era, but a source of uncertainty, surprise and occasional delight to successive generations of members and visitors. Some of the original sandy wastes remain as heroic hazards, but the course is mostly clad in mature dune flora that is ideal for presenting the great challenge of links golf. The course offers fantastic views and excellent playing conditions.

Maryport Golf Club

Maryport Golf Club is home to a truly unique golf course, located on Cumbria’s Solway coast with the most spectacular views of the Solway Firth over to the Scottish Coastline and to the East, the stunning Lake District Fells. Tucked away in a quiet corner of North West England, on the grounds of a former countryside estate, there are no modern day influences to distract you from the magnificence of a Brayton Park golf experience.
